Background

I aim to design and develop honest products, products that tells stories and bring materials, form and function together in thoughtful ways.

My practice began in 3D visualisation and creative direction. From 2017 I ran Langvik Design as a freelance studio. Working across art direction, product imagery, and concept visualisation for a handful of clients. This work has given me a strong foundation in how form, materials and function is communicated, and how a rendered image can make or break a concept before it's ever built.

I hold a master's in design from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Here I've learnt how to think about form, context, and the responsibility that comes with putting new objects into the world. Internships at Flokk and Ekornes ran alongside that education, bringing me into professional work environments, and manufacturing of high quality products. Working in CAD, contributing to prototyping, and seeing how considered furniture design moves from idea to production. My diploma extended that into more speculative territory: a body of work that treated design as a mode of inquiry rather than purely a discipline of resolution.

Since 2023 I've been working as a product developer at Bikeloop AS, a Norwegian startup building smart bicycle parking infrastructure for cities. The work spans the full hardware development cycle, from industrial design and concept through materials, manufacturing, and integration into urban environments. Alongside that, I volunteer at Nedre Glomma Maker Space, teaching digital fabrication and product design to people who want to learn to build things.
